This Month in RC Racing History: September
As we approach the end of summer and head into fall, lets take a look back at the month of September over the years:
Competition Plus — September 1987:
Re-Pete Fusco and Associated headline the issue after capturing the IFMAR 1/8 Scale World Championship. Also, coverage of the 1987 ROAR 1/10 Scale Nationals, the World Series oval race at Ascot, and Series East II.
Rev-Up — September 1987:
ROAR celebrates newly crowned 1/8-scale World Champion Re-Pete Fusco with results and photos from the IFMAR World Championship, while also covering regional racing, new products, rules and product approvals from around the organization.
Competition Plus — September 1988:
A packed championship issue covers the ROAR Quarter Scale On-Road and Dirt Oval Nationals, 1/12 Scale Nationals, NORRCA Nationals, European 1/10 Off-Road Championships and several major oval events.
Rev-Up — September 1989:
ROAR reflects on a busy summer of National Championships - while the organization prepares for elections, discusses the growing possibility of formalized RC drag racing, and announces the location of the 1991 IFMAR Off-Road Worlds.
Competition Plus — September 1994:
Brian Kinwald's modified motor gets a closer look alongside coverage of the 1994 NORRCA Off-Road Nationals and IEDA Seminole Nationals, plus a feature on Hyperdrive's H10 LX on-road car and other racing news from around the country.
RC Model Cars — September 1995:
Tamiya takes center stage with reviews of its ambitious 1/8-scale TGX Alfa Romeo touring car and Mini Cooper, joined by a Tekin G-12 speed-control test, a Pro Stock drag-car how-to, Southern Drag Nationals coverage and Reedy's Race of Champions in Japan.
Xtreme RC Cars — September 2007:
Championship racing dominates with coverage of the ROAR Electric Off-Road Nationals and ROAR 1/8 Fuel Buggy Nationals, alongside the Diggers Dungeon RC Monster Jam, battery-revival tips, setup advice and hands-on workshop projects.
Xtreme RC Cars — September 2008:
The issue features tests of the GS Racing CL-1 Advance, Traxxas Revo Platinum, Losi Desert Truck and Hot Bodies Cyclone TC. Also, an interview with Atsushi Hara, coverage of the Byron Fuel On-Road Nitro Challenge, and a first look at Tamiya's 801X truggy.

It's been a little while, and we've added a few more magazine issues, but our main focus over the past couple months has been adding search functionality to the entire magazine archive. Now you can search for keywords through all 127 magazine issues in the collection, across over 14,000 pages that have been scanned and processed! Give it a try!
We believe the search function is an incredibly powerful tool that will only expand in practicality as we continue to add documents to the archive. Thank you all for your patience as we worked through this!

Here you will find an archive of all available episodes dating back to 2012 containing exclusive interviews and other content that is historically significant to the world of RC racing.
Please note, there are several episodes missing. 60% of all RIP episodes had unfortunately been lost several years ago due to a hosting service mishap.

Added "Race Programs & Rules", "Catalogs", and "Manuals" tabs under Scans. Also uploaded ROAR 1997 and 1972 Competition Regulations, and a Tower Hobbies 1993 catalog.
"Race Results" drop down added, more race reports and results will be added in the coming weeks and months from ROAR, NORRCA, IFMAR, and other organizations
